Queenie Padilla applauds KC Concepcion for her Marawi outreach

KC Concepcion may have been away from the spotlight for quite a while now, but she never stopped changing the lives of other people the way only she can. In the midst of her recent breakup with ex-boyfriend Aly Borromeo, Sharon Cuneta‘s daughter chooses to focus and stay positive—this time, by making the locals of Marawi happy through a recent outreach campaign. As an ambassador of World Food Program of the United Nations (UN), she traveled all the way to Marawi City, Lanao del Sur two days ago, March 13.

But she didn’t just put smiles on the people of Marawi, KC also made her friend, Queenie Padilla, proud.

Queenie, who is a proud Muslim as her father Robin Padilla, complimented KC in a hijab, before praising her work with the UN.

“10 years she has served in the UN. What a wonderful achievement! Keep shining and flying @itskcconcepcion you are beautiful inside and out and an inspiration for Filipino women. 🙂 #Marawi #marawiheroes#prayformarawi”

The Kapamilya star could be quoted as saying:

“These trips are so valuable to me—the people I meet and come in close contact with up in the mountains make me realize how ONE PERSON can impact you in more ways than you can imagine.”

“Also, some of our problems are NOTHING compared to what these people have gone through. And yet, they choose to be happy. Keep your circle positive and always CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY.”
