Woman’s friend wishes for her death after being denied loan

You’re lucky if you have a friend to depend on in times of crisis. Life seems more complete when you have someone who will drop everything just to help you out when you need them. Unfortunately, there are those who twist the idea of friendship and use it to take advantage of others.

Despite how unbelievable it may seem, there are actually those who have the audacity to call themselves your “friend” for the sole purpose of using youSuch was the experience of this female netizen who narrated her story in a series of screenshots.

The netizen – let’s call her Bess – narrated her conversation with her ‘Mare‘ who asked to borrow PHP 4,000 for her allegedly sick child.

Apparently, Mare still had a pending debt that she promised to pay next time.

The conversation was calm at first, similar to how friends normally talk. Mare even asked Bess to hang out. However, the talk soon took a sharp turn when Mare began saying that she was having a difficult time. She then opened up about her ill kid, after which she finally asked for Bess’ financial help.

Unfortunately, Bess didn’t have money at the moment. She was unable to lend Mare the PHP 4,000, although she still try to help by offering to lend PHP 500.

Instead of being grateful, Mare started accusing Bess of being “mayabang” and “matapobre.” It got worse when Mare wished for Bess’ death just because she was denied a loan.

Harsh.

Bess was in disbelief and seemed truly hurt by Mare’s words. She then told off her so-called friend for constantly buying things she doesn’t need.
