It’s safe to say that many of us have forgotten that the Kapamilya “Teen Queen” Kathryn Bernardo was a Kapuso for a while. She starred as the young Jenny in the hit classic and GMA-7’s local adaptation of “Endless Love” in 2010, wherein she was paired with fellow young star Kristoffer Martin. After transferring to ABS-CBN, where she originally kick-started her career, there wasn’t any news that they remained friends until just recently.
It’s undeniable that Kathryn is currently at the height of her career, and Kristoffer couldn’t be any prouder of his pal. In a recent interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the GMA-7 talent shared that he and Kathryn still check up on each other whenever they meet.
“Happy ako sa kanya, kasi nagkikita naman kami sa mga events, nagbabatian, e. Hindi naman din siya yung [nang-iisnab]. Sobrang happy ko din, kasi before naman kami mag-Endless Love, sa ABS, magkaibigan na kami. So, wala naman akong masabi dun. Kasi, every time na magkikita kami sa events, kasi minsan nagkakasabay, e, nagbabatian, nangangamusta.”
The PEP team had the chance to interview Kristoffer during the press conference for his second single “Paulit-Ulit,” which will be the soundtrack of the upcoming Koreanovela “Fight For My Way” that will grace the GMA Telebabad’s roster of series.
