Josh Santana, the voice behind the Meteor Garden Tagalog soundtrack, is now a licensed doctor

Before Koreanovelas were all the craze, Asianovelas in general dominated the country’s afternoon shows. This era was ushered in by the original Asianovela, “Meteor Garden”, which I’m sure we all remember from the early 2000’s. I mean, who can forget the dreamy F4 and the beautiful, feisty San Chai? We were so obsessed with these dramas that we even had a Tagalog version of the Taiwanese show’s theme song, “Qing Fei Di Yi”. But do you remember who sang the famous translation? For those of you who don’t, it’s Josh Santana, and you wouldn’t believe what he is doing now.

Josh took to Instagram to express how happy he was to have passed the recent Physician Licensure Exam. Most fans probably did not even know he was in medical school in the first place, which was what made the good news more exciting.

The now-doctor wrote how he was so overwhelmed that he did not know what to say or post. He said he felt God guide him during the exam, reminding him to trust in himself. Josh thanked God for letting him witness so many miracles in his life, from his showbiz stints to his awards as a recording artist, and now for granting him his physician’s license.
