Mother’s sarcastic note about her daughter’s tardiness goes viral

It was a delightful morning that any mother with a teenage daughter could easily relate to, narrated Nicole Poppic. Nicole is a mother of three lovely kids, including 14-year-old Cara. While her children Alex and Sammi were already prepared and ready to leave for school, Cara was still not finished with her preparations.

Cara’s tardiness led her and her siblings to be late for school. Nicole shared on her blog how she reprimanded her daughter in the car on their way to the school:

“My lecture went something along the lines of, you need to start thinking about other people, Cara. You are not the only person in this family, and you made your brother and sister late, too. You know Alex hates being late, and Sammi has her first school picture day today.”

At this point, Nicole revealed that her teenage daughter completely ignored her by wearing headphones. The mother fumed and did not tolerate her daughter’s rude display, so she threw Cara’s phone out the car window.

That was not the end of the Cara’s punishment. Since she is frequently late to class, Cara asked her mother to write an excuse note for her teacher.

It seems like Cara finally got what she wanted. Well, almost.
