Devon Seron speaks up about jumping ship from ABS-CBN to GMA-7

Devon Seron started working for ABS-CBN ever since she left the Pinoy Big Brother house in 2010. Now, the former long-time Kapamilya is now a Kapuso!

The PBB alumna made her debut as a GMA-7 talent this month when she appeared on the network’s primetime teleserye, “The One That Got Away.”

According to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), Star Magic confirmed that Devon has indeed left the Kapamilya network’s talent management arm after more than eight years. She made the switch to its rival network, GMA-7, on February 16, 2018.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, the actress revealed why she finally decided to leave her home network:

“Actually personal decision ko talaga siya. For me, I think makakatulong siya sakin sa pagiging malawak ko as an artist. And of course, sa tingin ko, it will help me to grow as an actress talaga.”

Devon Seron also clarified that she left her former network on good terms, and that its management fully supported her decision.

Now, the 24-year-old actress said she is looking forward to being a part of GMA-7’s ‘telefantasyas’. She added that she also wants to take on more challenging roles now that she is officially a Kapuso.

While she still has no leading men in mind, Devon Seron revealed that there are a number of Kapuso actresses she would love to work with, namely Lovi Poe, Heart Evangelista, Jennylyn Mercado, and Marian Rivera.
