It’s that time of the year again! Now that graduation season is here, there’s certainly going to be yet another influx of lengthy, motivational posts from graduating students summarizing their college journeys. While there’s absolutely nothing new about this, there are some stories that are true enough and worthy of the spotlight. One of which is from Christopher Dahn J. Saliendra, an Education graduate who went viral after posing with a broom in his graduation photo.
In a Facebook post that he wrote last Sunday, March 18, Christopher narrated his struggles as a then-working-student during college.
For six years, Dahn—who finished his studies at Notre Dame of Marbel University in South Cotabato taking the course of BS Mathematics—was accompanied by his broom, which, for him, was the sole key to his success. Read his inspiring status below:
According to Definitely Filipino Balita, Dahn started his job-hunting as early as February. Thanks to his post which has reached over 230,000 netizens on Facebook, it was easy for him to catch the attention of his target employers. Soon after, he landed his first-ever job as a professional.
Now, Dahn is looking forward to taking the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) so that he can add another title to his achievements thus far.
Meanwhile, this good news definitely didn’t go unnoticed among netizens, who could only say kind words towards the hard working graduate.
Kudos on your first job, Dahn!
