It’s been a whirlwind these past few months for actors Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo after they welcomed their firstborn son Joaquin last December 2017. It’s not a secret that the parents’ life hasn’t been easy especially with the sleepless nights but Kaye seems to be peaceful and content with her life now.
PUSH recently shared the beautifully produced pictures that the actress released on Instagram. The love struck parent captioned the photographs with: “Let me love you a little more before you’re not little anymore.”
It showed her smiling down lovingly at her child and Kaye’s eyes were filled with nothing but happiness. Our favorite photo out of the bunch would probably be the one where a sleeping Joaquin was placed on a comfortable-looking crib while Kaye looked at him like he was her greatest blessing.
For sure, the actress’ life and priorities have changed ever since she gave birth to him on Paul Jake’s birthday. She stated that it was still surreal for her because the day she gave birth wasn’t expected at all. The couple went to the hospital for a check-up but the doctor was convinced that that day was the day they were waiting for.
And she was right! After they ate lunch to celebrate Paul Jake’s birthday, the couple went back to to the hospital and Kaye’s water broke. In her previous interview with ABS-CBN, the actress was extremely delighted with her son’s arrival.
“Can’t believe na he’s finally out. Parang kelan lang nasa tummy ko pa siya. I wasn’t expecting na I’ll give birth that day. Everything happened so fast.“
But Kaye also had her fair share of “baby blues” especially when Joaquin cries and they are at a loss on the reason why.
“Pag iyak siya nang iyak and you don’t know what he needs. Yung feeling na baka you’re not doing the right thing. It breaks my heart seeing him crying ‘tapos hindi mo siya mapatahan. And I guess kasama na din yung pagod.“
But it’s a good thing that she has a strong support system in the form of Paul Jake and her other family members.
