Sweet. Dainty. Sophisticated. These are just a few words that everyone likes to associate with Liza Soberano. And we can’t blame them either, since she has always been that actress who knows how to properly address seasoned actors and reputed TV hosts during interviews. Add to that, her attitude on television guestings and live shows are never not on point. With that said, it’s no wonder why the feminine half of LizQuen is the favorite of many people—she’s not only a pretty face, but she’s also a good role model to her young fans and followers.
That is, until a video of the “Bagani” actress cussing made rounds on social media recently.
Last night, March 28, a certain Cedric Gio took to Twitter to share the aforementioned video with the world. It started with an all-smiles Liza greeting a fan a happy birthday. However, even before she was able to say her birthday wish, a loud voice was heard in the video, prompting the young star to say, “T*** ***“.
It wasn’t identified where the five-second video first came from, but one thing was clear: the ever-so-perfect Liza is just like the rest of us.
Meanwhile, it didn’t take long before Cedric’s tweet nearly reached 40,000 tweeps overnight—and that’s just on Twitter alone. Of course, this ‘rare Liza Soberano’ came as a surprise to fans and non-fans alike, whose comments were varying.
While it was so unlike Liza to cuss, let alone utter a Filipino swear word, dozens of netizens found the video amusing. Many thought that only she could pull off something like that, with some even calling her ‘cute’. On the other hand, hard core fans, who are in denial, claim that the video was possibly edited.
If anything, this is a great reminder that celebrities, even those who appear to be the nicest ones, are human, too, more than anything else.
