Female netizen receives “Lip Tint Award” from her teacher

Our parents are proud of every achievement, big or little, we obtain in life. They may not vocally express it, but deep within they are in pure delight when you receive an award. But what if, unlike the ones who were called onstage to receive medals or “excellent student” accolades, you didn’t get any of those gems that could have been displayed in the living room by your mom or something that your father would brag about to his compadres? Fortunately, female netizen Obyang Ebalca’s teacher found another category where she was the king of the hill: the “Lip Tint Award.”

In a short, amusing social media post, the Facebook user shared that she thought she wouldn’t get any award—and voila, she was taken aback by her adviser’s surprise medallion. She wrote:

The female netizen also expressed that despite it being a joke, she was proud of herself. Her post now has a staggering number of around 8,800 mixed reactions and 6,033 shares on the social media site. Netizens also visibly tagged their pals who could be another recipient of the award.

A quite similar incident took place in December of 2017 when Facebook page “Zamboanga Thoughts” published a series of photos of unique certificates. These were “Best in Late,” “Most Noisy [sic],”  “‘Pretty Lang’ Award,” and “Selfie Award.” These funny titles, even if someone is not a student, he or she surely has a person in mind for each of this recognition.
