A young netizen named Ella Laosantos who shared the importance and value of eating breakfast in the morning regularly after suffering the painful symptoms like ulcers and gastritis.
Ella narrated in a Facebook post that during her student days in college, she rarely ate her breakfast in the morning because she always woke up late in the morning. She would skip breakfast as hurriedly made ready to go to school to avoid being late. Because of this habit, Ella suffered painful stomachaches, constipation, and vomiting. She consulted her doctor and the tests showed that she had a peptic ulcer and has hyper acidity.
The worst part of the news was that her ulcer would take time to heal. She easily got sick and had to go back to the hospital now and then to be treated.
Later on, she found out she could no longer eat heavily after she had a painful stomachache when she ate a large meal at a diner in Chinatown. She once again consulted the doctor and had an ultrasound. This time her condition worstened. She was diagnosed with gastritis.
She said that gastritis is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It may occur as a short episode or may be a long duration. There may be no symptoms but, when symptoms are present, the most common is upper abdominal pain.
