It’s the Lenten season again and many are using the time off to reflect. However, there are few people who choose to spend their time going on a vacation. For the family of TV host Mariel Rodiguez, this is exactly what she did.
The 33-year-old TV host happily shared images of her Hong Kong Disneyland vacation with her family. According to her, this is the first trip of her daughter Maria Isabella Padilla with the grandparents.
Read what encouraged them to unwind in Hong Kong Disneyland:
“Disneyland with the family for Carolina’s upcoming birthday thank you Carolina for inviting us to celebrate with you. [mariaisabelladepadilla] had the best time! Isabella so comfy sitting on her stroller admiring Elsa.”
“Isabella adores her Ate Carolina so much! I hope they will be super close and become best of friends.”
As for the first-time mother, she also narrated the highlight of their theme-park visit – her daughter finally called her mama.
“My baby girl [mariaisabelladepadilla] was EXTRA happy today. We did a lot of waiting but she was just so so happy the whole time. She enjoys pasyal / travel. I am so tired but it is so worth it!”
“Happy baby just like mama… I really thought my daughter would call me mom or mommy. I don’t know how it happened but Isabella calls me Mama. And I like it.”
Here is another anecdote from here:
“I had to hold back my tears when we were at It’s A Small World because when Isabella was born and colicky one of the songs I sang to her (yes I sang to her kaya yata lalo umiyak) was “It’s A Small World.”
I just felt so grateful that I was actually showing her the ride where I learned the song from. The best part was that she loved it! She was dancing along like she remembered mama singing to her. God is good! My heart is full.
In the end, Mariel Rodriquez said this is the most special Disneyland experience of her life.
The most special Disneyland experience I have ever had in my life… That is because of you my [mariaisabelladepadilla].
