Britton Hayes found himself a long way from home when he went on a Safari tour in Tanzania, Africa. The Washington resident wanted to explore the vast wilderness of the Serengeti National Park and rode in a jeep with his fellow tourists. However, he and other tourists got more nature than they were expecting when a wild Cheetah randomly decided that it going to explore them instead.
We’re pretty sure that the excitement of the tourists quickly dissolved into fear when they failed to notice that three wild cheetahs were closing in on their vehicles. The source reported that these amazing predators were hunting when they came across the jeep and they were immediately curious.
Britton said that it was too late for them to drive away because it would have startled the animals, resulting in a more dangerous situation.
“We started to notice the cheetahs became curious of the vehicle. But it was too late to drive quickly away or anything like that because you don’t want to startle the animals, because that’s when things usually go wrong.”
Barely calm, the tourists and their tour guide allowed the creatures to explore the Jeep. There was one that climbed up the hood of the car while another cheetah went inside the car through the back.
The video that Britton uploaded showed how he was naturally extremely nervous while the dangerous predator inspected the back of the Jeep. You can see it chew on the headrest and lick its lips while looking directly at the camera. Luckily, it grew bored and jumped out soon after.
With a sigh of relief, the tourists drove away safe and of course, they were able to laugh about what had happened. Thank God no one got hurt!
