Netizens get emotional after watching these OFW mothers at their children’s graduation

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) may have different life stories here in the Philippines but almost all of them have the same reason for why they chose to work abroad. Most if not all of them, would most likely admit that they simply want to earn a large income in order to provide for their families left here in the country. These selfless heroes know that money, earned through hard and honest work, is the best thing they could do for their loved ones.

Most of them who happen to be parents choose to leave their homes in order to provide the best for their children. They endure the physical and emotional suffering abroad in the hopes of giving a better life for their loved ones.

Recently, an emotional graduation video shared by the Facebook page “OFW Tambayan” went viral on social media. On the video, two students expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their OFW mothers by giving out and personally hanging their medals on them.

Just like any proud parent, the two mothers became very emotional and got teary-eyed over what their children had done.

Moreover, many netizens could not help but be emotional while watching the said video.

Other OFW parents shared that they also have children who are graduating this year. Unfortunately, they will not be able to attend the graduation rites because they were not allowed by their employers to go home.
