Focus, dedication, and love for the craft — according to ex-“Wowowin” dancer Lovely Abella, these three things should be in the minds of those who wish to be successful in the entertainment industry.
Lovely Abella gave these words of advice especially for Jackque Gonzaga, also known on ”It’s Showtime” as ‘Ate Girl.’ Much like Jackque, Lovely also started as a dancer. Now, she is known for so much more than that. She has had numerous appearances on TV shows and film, as a talent under the GMA Artist Center. She is best known for her role as Tina in the afternoon show D’ Originals.
Now, Lovely Abella narrates she’s not one of those ‘Biglang Sikat’ stories.
“Lahat ng naachieve ko, pinilahan ko talaga, pinaghirapan ko.”
She even told the story of her first audition as a dancer. Apparently, she was told she was a bit chubby, and she would have to lose some weight.
Still, when she got the call that she’d be dancing for Willie Revillame’s show, she was determined to give her all. Now, all her hard work’s paying off. As for ‘Ate Girl,’ Lovely hopes Jackque realizes how fortunate she is.
“Grab the opportunity. Ang swerte mo, kasi, Vice Ganda ‘yan eh. Ang swerte mo na gusto ka niya,” Lovely said.
Looking forward, the sexy comedienne wishes to be known for her versatility.
“Kahit nakikilala ako as a sexy comedienne, gusto kong ipakita na kaya ko rin makilala sa drama, sa action, lahat. Kaya hindi rin ako tumatanggi sa offers. Kahit ano, kasi baka mamaya dun ko pala sila mapapa-wow!”
