ABS-CBN news reporter MJ Felipe recently shared a photo of Vice Ganda undergoing a CT Scan procedure. Netizens were then quick to express their concern and “get well soon” messages to the box-office comedian.
The “Unkabogable” star has been vocal about his condition. In February this year, he underwent surgery to address the kidney stones that caused him stomach pains. His doctor and also his sister, Tina Viceral, shared in an interview that the comedian’s operation was a success and asked for his fans’ prayers for his complete recovery.
Vice Ganda also reportedly didn’t finish the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” (TNT) segment as he had to excuse himself earlier for his scheduled CT Scan. He also asked his followers to pray for him.
On Monday, the “Unkabogable” star opened up about his condition on “It’s Showtime.” He shared with his fellow hosts and the audience the importance of health especially when a person gets older. He said:
Kasi may kidney stones ako. Sabi ng doctor after two months tingnan natin.”
He also added his concern for the people who look up to him as someone who eases off others’ pain.
The crowd was visibly pleased and lauded Vice Ganda’s statement. The host also said that he wishes for the Almighty’s blessing as his intentions are pure.
