For most tall girls, having a shorter guy as a partner can make them feel insecure. For a tall woman like Hayleigh, her height has never become an issue.
That is until the doctors told her that, because of her size, it would be severely dangerous for her to get pregnant.
The 6ft 7in tall Hayleigh and her beau, Bryan, who is only 5ft 6in tall, were not bothered by their height difference ever since they met. They are so in love that after their first kiss, Bryan saw himself spending his entire life with Hayleigh.
In an interview, Hayleigh shared:
“Bryan told me after our first kiss that he would marry me, and it feels like an eternity ago.”
In 2015, the couple tied the knot and decided to not let go of the future they have seen with each other.
But the married life was not a walk in the park for them. They started struggling financially, so they moved to Tennessee and found a less expensive home that will somehow relieve them from their financial burden.
The couple also found out that being pregnant could possibly bring risks to Hayleigh.
But one day, Hayleigh was shocked to found out that there lies a baby inside her womb. After eight months, the baby appeared to be twice the size of an average baby!
Almost everything was going smoothly, until her doctor told her that she has placenta previa, a complication which happens when the placenta lies low in the uterus and covers the mouth of the cervix.
However, this complication did not deter Hayleigh from giving birth to a bouncing baby girl, which the couple then named Kaia. While normal babies normally weigh 7.4lbs-7.7lbs, Baby Kaia weighed almost 9lbs and measured 53cm.
“We are so happy with this girl. She’s the cutest little baby who sleeps all the time and loves to cuddle.”
We bet there’s no better Valentine’s Day gift than their baby daughter Kaia who was welcomed to the world on Valentine’s Day itself, February 14.
