For over four decades on Philippine television, the longest noontime show “Eat Bulaga!” has opened doors of opportunities for young aspiring artists in the country. It’s segment “Little Miss Philippines” paved way for many young little girls to become starlets in showbiz. Among them was Shanadine Llanera or better known as Dindin Llanera.
During the 90’s, the cute and adorable seven-year-old girl from Olongapo City conquered the EB stage and captured the hearts of many televiewers. She was honored to represent the National Capital Region (NCR) during the final round of the competition. Her prowess in singing proved to everyone that she was one of the most promising child stars of her generation.
One of her most memorable performance was when she had a duet with international singer David Pomeranz.
Aside from singing, Dindin is also talented in acting. In fact, she became part of various movies such as “Sanib” (2003),“Magnifico” (2003), and “Singsing ni Lola” (2002).
However, during the late 2000’s the singer-actress decided to leave the spotlight and focused on her studies. After five years, she earned a degree on Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Comteq Computer and Business College (CCBC) in Olongapo City.
After few years of being on hiatus. Dindin returned on the EB stage in 2014 and became one of the judges of “Little Miss Philippines 2014” where she had the chance to perform on stage with Julia Clarete, one of the show’s co-hosts.
Aside from that, she also appeared as a guest on “The Ryzza Mae Show”, and former Kapuso Sunday variety show “SOP” where she had a stage performance along with Julie Ann San Jose.
Presently, Dindin works at PTT Philippines Foundation Inc., a non-profit organization. She is now a Corporate Services Responsibility Associate and is enjoying her life away from the spotlight.
