Soft drink contains a very popular additive called artificial caramel which has two contaminants called 2-methylimidazole and 4-methylimidazole. An intake of 16-micrograms of 4-methylimidazole is very life-threatening already and the scary part is that most sodas have 200 micrograms per 20 oz bottle.
