They captured and lifted up the giant shark which weighed over 600 pounds. However, when they were about to slice the giant shark into pieces, they found out something that they never expected in their whole life.
The fishermen discovered that the giant shark ate something bigger than any animal creatures that it usually eats. Startled by it, they saw a partially digested head and a human foot.
They were afraid to look at it at first. This was probably the reason why they immediately returned the fish—and the remains of the human—the sea. But before they did it, they cut first the shark’s fins and head.
Based on the size of the tooth and jaw of the giant fish, the shark is at 1,200 pounds, according to an expert diver.
Some even believed that that the man, who the shark ate, was one of the passengers on the Maharlika Ferry, which sank in September.
And this was not the only incident. In 2010, fishermen in the Bahamas encountered a human remains inside a tiger shark.
However, despite their scary reputation, sharks rarely ever take aggressive action against humans and would much rather feed on fish and marine mammals.

Only about a dozen of the more than 300 species of sharks have been involved on hurting humans. Sharks evolved millions of years before humans existed and therefore humans are not part of their normal diets. Sharks are opportunistic feeders, but most sharks primarily feed on smaller fish and invertebrates. Some of the larger shark species prey on seals, sea lions, and other marine mammals.
